With the SASS WEB CLIENT your business process is managable via web. This includes all data of your OPC devices, which are connected via a live communication interface. The data transfer from OPC devices to the SASS WEB CLIENT has a very low latency, so inavare offers the fastest Multi-Plattform-Solution on the market.
Example
The movie shows a small part of a web client running at the OMV.
OPC Transfer Technology
The inavare SASS SERVER is connected to your OPC driven hardware via the SASS OPC DRIVER. All OPC data is transfered via messages, beginning at the SASS OPC DRIVER and ending at the SASS WEB CLIENT. When data changes at driver side, a new event is generated and broadcasted to all subscribed listeners. The event is pushed to all listening webclients as a message, via a realtime protocol. There is no antiquated polling mechanism used in the webclient. The message based procedure reduces the data traffic dramatically and the client receives data with very low latency. The client is using Adobes Flash Plugin. So we can offer frontends from simple text data up to complex animations which are triggered by data transitions of your OPC devices. You can use any web browser with FlashPlayer 9 installed. For example the following systems are supported: Windows XP / 2000 / Vista, Linux Red Hat / Suse / Ubuntu, Mac OS X, Solaris 10.
Compability
The SASS-OPC driver and SASS WEB CLIENT are able to generate and consume events, which are compatible to the OpenSCADA standard. OpenSCADA is a major and free SCADA framework. www.openscada.org
